Devlog #3 - Villages, Houses, Diving, Gates and more~


Greetings once again!

We are still hard at work, trying to complete all the features we need for the alpha so we can focus entirely on producing rooms, quality of life and general polish~

We have quite a few new features to talk about as we continue to work towards our alpha release, here's a list of things we worked on this week:

  • Village House indoors tiles now implemented!
  • Map Stage 2, Zoom now has a minimum and maximum limit, Panning the Map is now more consistent.
  • Gate Entity, a Tracking entity that activates things when objects it tracks activate or conditions are met.
  • Area Trigger, a Proximity Based Activator that allows us to activate things when players walk into a specific region.
  • Platform Mover, a Physics-Synced Mover that allows players to ride on moving platforms.
  • Players can now Dive downwards by double tapping down in the air.
  • Players can now cancel bouncing on the floor when falling by holding down.
  • Pass-through Platforms now require double tapping down to fall through them.
  • Particles for Flight, wing flaps generate particles in the opposite movement direction with force based feedback.

Quite a lot it seems! So here's some GIFs showing some of these off~
